TEST REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for the Silent Valor Test It Yourself Program, all testing must be conducted exactly as outlined below. This program is designed to mirror recognized ballistic testing principles and ensure fair, consistent evaluation across all submissions.

Any deviation in ammunition type, round count, shot placement, filming continuity, or test setup may result in disqualification from refunds or rewards.

  • PURCHASE & TEST Purchase any eligible Silent Valor armor plate or soft armor insert and conduct your own live-fire test using the specified ammunition and shot patterns appropriate for that armor level, as outlined below.
  • FILM THE TEST Record a clear, continuous, uncut video that visibly documents: The armor before testing (front and back). The entire live-fire test from start to finishThe post-test condition of the armor immediately after firing. The footage must clearly show the ammunition used, shot placement, and final results.
  • SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS Submit your test video for review by emailing ecommerce@silentvalor.com. Due to large video file size, please use a secure file transfer service such as WeTransfer to send us the video. If the test is conducted in full compliance with the requirements and the footage meets program standards, you will qualify for the applicable refund or reward under the Test It Yourself Program.
  • If the armor passes: You will receive a 50% off coupon valid on your next purchase (up to a $1,000 order value) as a reward for submitting qualifying test footage.
  • If the armor fails: You will receive a refund in accordance with program terms.
